Star for Pixels

Star for Pixels

Star with as many or as few arms as you want. With my slicer, printer and resin I found that my 12mm WS2811 require a 13.5mm hole, you may want to change that for your slicer, printer and material. The example STL files have the parameters that I changed from default in the filename. If the whole star is too big for your printer you can print less arms by setting "armsToDraw" to a lower number. If you do then there will be a "T" key on each side to help line up the arms after they are printed. There is a "doSquare" option to allow you to print square holes for WS2812B pixels. If you print less than the full star then change the "startKey" value to make sure you do not have orphaned parts of the "T" hanging around. Having the "T" within a hole works fine since it is only there to help align the parts, just don't have part of the "T" orphaned by a hole. Since this is all in OpenSCAD there is no error checking and it is very easy to create a star that is not usable, play with the parameters until you get what you want.
