That's my "star version" of the excellent Evergreen Tree Christmas Ornament on Card by w3ace. The picture shown also features: the great Snowflake designed by jonmonaghan, another thing I designed and printed for this year end, the Iceman. Print Settings Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.25 mm Infill: 20%/100% Notes: I designed this to be a unique, three-part print job. The branches are printed in green and require 20% honeycomb infill for the best look and rigidity. The trunk is filled solid at 100%, but I recommend printing it in green as well. You can customize the star's color and design however you like. This model prints quickly due to its thin pieces, making it ideal for batch printing. To achieve the best results, use a 0.25 mm layer height and 0.5 mm extrusion width with three perimeters. The printer and PLA filament used were generously provided by FORMWERK. How I Designed This I started by creating sketches in Inkscape, which I then imported into 123D Design to add depth and complexity. Extruding the design brought it to life, allowing me to create a beautiful Evergreen Tree Christmas Ornament on Card.
