The Skywatcher StarAdventurer telescope travel mount has one major drawback when it comes to its illumination for the polarscope: If the camera is attached to the "Dec bracket" with the counterweight, the polarscope illuminator no longer fits. This adapter makes it possible to use the illuminator even when a mounted bracket is in place. You should carefully check the dimensions of both the adapter and your illuminator, and make any necessary adjustments for scale.
