This adapter easily integrates onto an existing 18V power tool by utilizing Stanley Fatmax 18v Batteries, allowing users to harness their existing battery supply. To connect the wires, two contacts need to be soldered in place, which can be created from a length of 15MM copper pipe. By cutting it down and flattening it with a hammer, two rectangular contacts measuring 10MM wide and 25MM long can be fashioned. These should then be touched up with a file to ensure smooth connections before attaching the cables and securing them in place with hot glue at the rear of the adapter. For added stability, four dabs of hot glue can be applied around the corners where the adapter meets the old battery housing. A screenshot from Cura has been provided to illustrate the settings used for this project.
