Stanley Cup - St Louis Blues

**Is it me or is Thingiverse not uploading models for you too?** I'm wondering if I'm the only one having trouble getting my 3D models uploaded to Thingiverse. I recently created a large Stanley Cup with a Blue note on it, and I used Netfabb's boolean operations to craft the middle portion of the cup as well as slice the blue note into four separate parts, so they could be printed in different colors. The model is scaled up, making it approximately a foot tall when assembled. As I continue experimenting with printing, I've found that supports will likely be necessary for the middle section where the note protrudes. However, I can still rotate the notes to have them lie flat, even though I could have easily done this in the original model design - but I didn't. When it comes to printing the top part, I think it might come out better when printed upside-down with supports for the center. This is just a suggestion based on my current experience. UPDATE: I've been using a silver filament from Amazon, available here https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XSBFB17/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. It's working well so far. To improve the printing process, I've been experimenting with different settings in Cura 4.2.1. Specifically, I've adjusted the "support Z distance" to .3, the support x/y distance to 1.0, and set the support distance priority to Z overrides X/Y, following other recommendations online. This tweak has helped my supports come off much easier.
