Stanley 7 segment display

thingiverse

This is a file I drew from scratch of a Stanley S-5000B seven segment display used both on Doc Brown's remote and in the DeLorean time machine speedometer in Back to the Future. I used a casting that was made from 3 of the original units as reference from another builder that I have secured permission from to post this. I have not had time yet to fine tune the dimensions but once I am able to print and verify I will be refining the dimensions. In the meantime those who have the ability should have no problems fine tuning the measurements to their needs but the bulk of the design of the main body has been done. Note: Due to the thin nature of the dividing walls between segments, some slicer software may insert gaps where these walls connect to the main body. I was able to overcome this by reorienting the model but it is important to double check this prior to printing as any gaps will cause light to bleed into other segments and make this unusable. This file is free for anyone to download and use
