This model was created by merging a pillow's 3D scan data obtained with an ASUS XTION depth camera and the iconic Stanford Bunny's 3D file. The raw scan data from the pillow was then imported into Autodesk MeshMixer, where it was processed to form a solid object. The Stanford Bunny's STL-file was next brought in and adjusted to match its proportions for optimal fit on top of the pillow. A boolean difference operation effectively embedded the bunny's impression within the pillow. Following this process, hard edges were smoothened with advanced sculpting tools available in MeshMixer. The final step involved gently bending the ears of the bunny model into natural poses resting comfortably atop the pillow using MeshMixer's soft transform functionality. MeshMixer was used to craft an intricately detailed support structure around the unique design, effectively anchoring the inclined shape for added stability.Sources: - http://www.gvu.gatech.edu/people/faculty/greg.turk/bunny/bunny.html - http://www.instructables.com/id/3D-printable-grip-and-lens-cover-for-ASUS-XTION-ha/ - http://meshmixer.com/ - http://plus.google.com/115061138102705881697/posts
