Standups for Koma Eurorack Case
thingiverse
Love this Koma Elektronik Eurorack modular analog synth case so much that you can't bear the thought of marring or scratching its beautiful finish? Don't want to use those little rubber feet? Consider making a set of lovely wooden standups instead! My daughter came up with the name "standups" because "feet" sound nasty. Download the STL file of your choice (face up on the table orientation, or upright) then feed it into your magical cutting machine via the appropriate software. I used Rhino with the print driver to cut on an Epilog Zing 16 40-Watt laser, but your software/driver will vary depending on cutter. Laser-cut two sets of 1/4" Baltic birch plywood standups for either face up or upright orientations, then screw them into the case's threaded inserts with M6 screws. You can also use these files with a CNC router or as a template for cutting on a bandsaw or do it the old-fashioned way like your grandmother did with her Eurorack case and use a hand saw! Hope you enjoy.
