Standoff

Standoff

thingiverse

I wanted to create a standoff for when I oil the end grain cutting board I'm making. Found some designs on Thingiverse, but none of them met my requirements. Designed this in F360. The base measures 50mm across and 54mm high. Printed it at 0.12 layer height, which is what my printer prefers - 0.04mm increments - and a 50% infill with ABS filament, as I wanted it to be quite sturdy. It took about six hours to print two at those settings while making the timelapse video. Added a photo showing four in use with an end grain cutting board I'm making. No raft was needed, but you know your printer best. Constructive criticism is welcome since I'm self-taught and relatively new to CAD & 3D printing. https://youtu.be/-lE6WRToosc
