Sculpted and signed by Linda Sober, who graduated from the Pallas Art School in 1938 with a passion for creating masterpieces that would captivate audiences worldwide. She established herself as a freelance artist in Tartu, working tirelessly until her escape from Estonia. Alongside Amanda Jasmiin, Lydia Laas, Salme Riig and Leontine Lind-Karu, she pioneered the first generation of Estonian female sculptors to earn their education at Pallas. Linda Sober's works were exhibited throughout her school years, earning praise from numerous critics who recognized her immense talent. In 1944, she fled with her mother and young son to Germany, where they eventually settled in San Remo, Italy, in 1950, allowing her to continue working as a freelance artist until her passing in 2004. The majority of her sculptures from the period between 1935 and 1944 are proudly displayed at the Art Museum of Estonia and the Tartu Art Museum, serving as a testament to her enduring legacy.
