Standard SD Card Port for Ender 2

Standard SD Card Port for Ender 2

I generally really love my Ender 2, except for one major issue - the ridiculously inconvenient location of the micro SD port. I also hate fumbling with easy-to-lose micro SD cards, so I designed a game-changing improvement to the Ender 2 that makes the SD port incredibly more accessible and uses standard SD cards. The design centers around a standard micro SD (TF) male to SD female adapter cable, available from online retailers like Amazon, AliExpress, and Ebay. The mounting bracket is secured to the electronic enclosure with a single OE screw, while excess cable (the shorter, the better) is accordion folded and stored between the front of the SD module and the mounting bracket. I always prefer printing mounting holes in the XY plane using a solid annular ring, but if that's not feasible, I'll design an insert secured with Fix-All Gel Super Glue for added strength - something I've done successfully with this design.
