I set out to create a simplified redo of Rauloklee's adapter, drawn to the simi-circular nozzle's unique design. Replacing it seemed like a straightforward task, but all the air kept escaping through the top of the fan instead of flowing smoothly. A comment suggested this was due to square sides and a lack of vortex, but that wasn't the issue. After researching possible causes, I discovered Dan6oN's static pressure booster on YouMangine.com. Although noisier than expected, it produced incredible airflow. All I needed to do was resize it from 140mm to 40mm. Then my controller board malfunctioned - perhaps I played a role in that. With all the downtime between prints, I took the opportunity to learn Fusion 360 and I'm still mastering it. This adapter prints well using support from the build plate. I used PLA Normal 0.15 with 60% Gyroid infill and increased the wall thickness to 1.2mm for optimal results.
