Stand Up Paddleboard Navigation Light
thingiverse
Most public waterways demand that all boats display navigation lights after dark. Get in some night paddling using this thing. When attached to a rigid base, this thing can support a 2mm thick card vertically. The card can be fitted with the Life Gear light holders from maushammer. After printing and testing the first version (V1), I wished it had a support so it wouldn't depend on glue's adhesion as much. I've included version two (V2) to address this concern. The card can be attached to the holder by using either a short M3 screw or by drilling a hole through the card and putting some stiff wire through the three holes. I've used a piece of thick aluminum flashing for the base and a piece of aluminum wire to hold the base to the board. The red light goes on the port side, green light goes on the starboard side.
