I have designed this stand-off to bring the speaker away from the dashboard when mounted to the single speaker position alongside the steering column. When mounted without this stand-off the speaker touches the rear of the dashboard which restricts the vibration of the speaker which reduces the sound quality. Retrosound are suppliers of replacement Classic Car Audio. Both head units and speakers are designed in keeping with a classic car design.
