Here is my design for a stand that showcases lithophane pictures. The light source can be either a solar-powered LED lamp or a candle, both of which provide a warm and cozy ambiance. My dad gave me the idea to create this stand when he made one with a wooden base and a candle. I'm glad I could improve upon his design and create not one, but three different versions that cater to various preferences. Stand V1 is designed for use with candles and has a 360mm groove that can accommodate up to three pictures with 120mm width or four pictures with 90mm width. Stand V2 features a more modern look and is designed specifically for LED lamps. It has the same dimensions as Stand V1, but with an added feature of adjustable lighting. Stand V3 is similar to Stand V1 in terms of design, but it's meant for use with LED lamps instead of candles. The pictures are arranged in a 3x1 layout, which creates a beautiful display of light and shadow. To create your own lithophane pictures, follow these simple steps: First, head over to the website http://3dp.rocks/lithophane/ and click on "Image" to upload your file. Make sure that for three pictures, your image is in a 4:3 format (1200x900 pixels), and for four pictures, it should be in a 1:1 format (900x900 pixels). Select the "Outer Curve" option, then go to settings and set the maximum size to the following: 360mm / number of pictures = 120mm or 90mm Next, adjust the curve setting by dividing 360 degrees by the number of pictures. This will give you either 120 degrees or 90 degrees. Finally, select "Positive Image" from the image settings and refresh your design. Once you're done, download your STL file. For those who prefer LED lighting, I recommend choosing between warm white or cold white options.
