Stand for Hotder wine aerator decanter
thingiverse
I created this stand for a Hotder wine aerator decanter because we often have a box of wine, and the aerator makes it taste better - wine boxes have gotten really good lately. The problem is you need three hands to hold the glass, pour the wine, and hold the aerator. No More! This stand sits on top of your glass. Hotder sells a stand itself, but the aerator costs £8 and the stand is £30, which is just ridiculous. I included the STL for the Hotder wine aerator decanter itself, which is anatomically identical to the original. If the air tubes on the sides don't pass air, it won't work, so it's probably worth running a 2mm drill bit down the holes in the sides (if you're at it, the center hole should be 4.5mm, but I'm not sure how critical that diameter is). It shouldn't need supports because all angles are no more than 40 degrees. Print Settings: Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 15% Notes: Normal supports are needed under the slot to hold the wine glass and to support the overhanging top rim.
