Stand for DIY Monitor
thingiverse
I crafted a portable monitor (12v power source for battery compatibility) specifically for my MacBook since I prefer working with two monitors. Video editing and other tasks are more efficient this way. The stand's design is simple enough to print without supports, taking me approximately four hours to complete with the settings outlined below. The included M5 bolt allows for effortless angle adjustments. To achieve a neater look, substitute my M5x40 screw with an M5x30 one. If you have any clever ideas for quick adjustment mechanisms, please share them with me. UPDATE: I discovered a suitable alternative: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7449/files To utilize this design, scale it up to 125% since it's optimized for M4 bolts, not M5. Additionally, lightly sand the surface for a smoother finish. An M5x40 bolt is required.
