This stand is designed for 1:285 or 1:300 scale models; the mobile joint features a top 2.5 mm hole for model mounting, but you can glue a magnet instead of inserting a small rod into your model if preferred. The base is shown with two hand-drawn scales to highlight the pointers, but it's easy to create a better design by printing your own scale and gluing it onto the 32 mm radius octagonal base while using different filament colors during production. I opted for simplicity in this case. More rods and joint tubes can be stacked to show varying heights instead of or in addition to using the pointers; you can also replace them with sturdier alternatives if desired. The orientable head works by pushing the spherical mobile component into the fixed one, but make sure the rounded part is clean before insertion to ensure smooth rotation. I printed all components as shown in the image using a brim build plate and without supports. Best regards, Erik
