This stand is designed for 1:285 or 1:300 scale models; the mobile joint has a top 2.5 mm hole for model mounting, but you can glue a magnet instead of using a small rod in your model if preferred. The base features two hand-drawn scales to highlight the pointers, although they are somewhat crude; it's easy to improve upon this by printing your desired scale and gluing it onto the 32 mm radius octagonal base. You can also use different filament colors during the build process for added visual interest. More rods and joint tubes can be stacked to create varying heights on the stand, or used in conjunction with the pointers; of course, you're free to substitute them with more robust materials if desired. The orientable head functions by pushing the mobile spherical part into the fixed one; ensure the rounded surface is clean before insertion to make rotation easier. I printed all components as shown in the image using a brim build plate and without supports. Best regards, Erik
