Stand for 8-inch wood panel

Stand for 8-inch wood panel

thingiverse

This is a simple angled stand used to hold a standard 8" high wood panel at one of two angles. You can get these panels from craft stores, Blick Art Materials, or American Easel. We use them for our 8" MiniCityArt models, and all new 8" MiniCity models will come with one. And best of all, the two planes of this stand are at right angles, so they easily pack next to or inside of a box. We stand these on their smallest triangular edge before slicing, and typically print 3-5 in one job. They are designed to require only 4 passes at 0.4mm line width, so set the number of perimeters to 2 and line width to 0.4mm. This piece was designed with OpenSCAD.
