A quirky design gets the job done perfectly. Built specifically for an approximately five-inch Ammonite fossil, this stand is versatile enough to showcase smallish thick disks or materials of a similar nature. It would be an excellent choice for displaying wood-burning art on a section, ceramics, stone slices, and more. The fossil itself is not included in the package. I display my stands unfinished, but plan to complete them with Modern Masters Bronze reactive paint for a sleek finish.
