Human: Stand, Clamps and Equipment Kit This versatile kit has numerous uses beyond chemistry, including engineering, stop motion, biology, manufacturing, and many more applications. Its design is streamlined for ease, speed, and flexibility to suit any project. Why I Created This System I needed a custom mount for a microscope camera over a PCB but didn't want to make a one-off solution. I considered alternative methods before realizing chemistry kits use rods to create mounts. Examining these kits revealed useful parts that weren't included, prompting me to design my own system based on their setup. The second stand features foldable legs that can be retracted for added space or to avoid objects. Bosshead This component attaches two rods at a 90-degree angle, secured by a 15mm x M3 screw with a nut. Clamp The clamp holds various items such as test tubes, thermometers, cameras, and probes. A screw tightens the clamp around the object, while a 10mm rod is inserted into the hole with some glue to secure it in place. Ring Stand This stand can hold funnels or serve as a platform; it comes in three sizes: 50mm, 75mm, and 100mm. A 10mm rod is inserted into the hole with some glue for added stability. Hook The hook holds objects like cables, hoses, or items with handles, secured by inserting a 10mm rod into the hole with some glue to hold it in place. Angled Rods These rods can be bent to achieve better angles or navigate around other objects without using additional components. This is achieved by attaching two rods together with a hinge to create a flexible rod. PCB Holder This component holds printed circuit boards (PCBs) in place for displaying or soldering; it clamps onto a 10mm rod and is secured with a 15mm x M3 screw. Crocodile Clips Holder This holder secures wires, cables, and other objects, useful as a soldering station for holding components. It clamps onto a 10mm rod and is held in place by a 15mm x M3 screw. Light Fitting When extra light is needed, this attachment uses a downlight screw connector to secure the light. The light can be angled before tightening it into place on one-half of the angled rods. Wing Nut This feature makes the system easy to use without tools; an additional 10mm is required for screws to work with this component (25mm for bossheads). A nut is inserted into the hole, and the screw is tightened through the part. Some glue helps prevent the screw from loosening. More Components Coming Soon Keep an eye on this kit for upcoming additions; stay updated to avoid missing new components. Note - Use a 10mm drill to create holes for better fitment before inserting rods. - As these parts are 3D printed, a bunsen burner can melt them.
