I'm excited to share my first project with everyone, hoping you'll all like it! It's a simple spool holder with an industrial look that I've designed for easy assembly with threaded rod - either 5/16 or 8mm will do. The centering cone is specifically set up for a 5/16 nut and rod, but since I didn't use 8mm in my setup, I didn't modify the cone to accommodate it. I've also included an adapter that fits snugly into the nut hole on the centering cone, providing a convenient holder for a 608 bearing instead. This was a necessity after I realized I needed a bearing during production - I had already printed several cones and couldn't bear the thought of wasting them. This design is actually a remix of another project I came across here, which featured a top mount design that I modified to make it free-standing. A big shoutout goes out to the talented designer who originally created this concept, whose name unfortunately escapes me right now!
