I'm remixing part of this design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3564068. The original A-B frame is meant to be attached to an aluminum extrusion frame or an enclosure, but it's not stable enough for standalone use. It's also tough to print with filaments other than PLA - I had trouble getting a usable version printed on PETG. This is the 5th iteration of my own designed stand-alone A-B frame, allowing me to use the original holders on a tabletop or in a dry box. I highly recommend using it with the bearing version of the spool shaft from the original thing; the spools roll smoothly and without resistance.
