"Stanced" Board Truck Risers
thingiverse
You want to achieve that iconic look where the trucks are positioned on the upper side of your board, don't you? It's totally rad with longboard wheels, but be warned - manual turning is a must since there's no other way to get around besides that sick gangsta lean you'll get from riding such an awesome skateboard. Just remember, safety first. By the way, I'm experimenting with different riser models on my photos, and it turns out that one of the three white ones is a v2 model in ABS material - very cool stuff. But for this project, we're using Taulman 618 for maximum rigidity. Now, onto the important part - printing your skateboard! Print the design with an outer perimeter of at least 4 perimeters at 50% or better to ensure its stability and durability. When cutting, don't be tempted to remove more material than necessary; take small cuts at a time until you reach your desired level of detail. Trust me on this one. Finally, exercise extreme caution while handling the finished product.
