Stampin Up Trimmer Blade Sharpener

I use this device to help hone Stampin Up Paper Trimmer Blades. These blades have become increasingly difficult to locate, so my wife is attempting to sharpen existing ones. This sharpener supports a DMD Mini Double Sided Pocket Diamond Ceramic Whetstone I acquired on Amazon (see image) and offers reference angles for aligning the blade to be honed. Use the stone's ceramic-side facing up and add a few drops of water on the ceramic side when in use. The best I can measure, these blades are honed at approximately a 9 degree angle. The 9 degree reference points assist in aligning this minuscule blade. Since the blade is so small, it doesn't require much to hone it. Placing your hand on the work surface helps maintain the honing angle. (see video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQi4w0v_KpM ) Each blade boasts FOUR edges that necessitate honing. Honed blades appear to function perfectly once again. PLEASE HANDLE THE BLADE WITH EXTREME CARE! The minuscule blade is extremely sharp.
