Stamp box for COLOP printer Q17
thingiverse
Our family enjoys geocaching greatly, so we make a habit of participating in this fun activity together. We started out signing our name on every geocache by writing it in the logbook with a pen or pencil. Later I purchased a custom-made stamp bearing our logo 'qbi2' to leave my mark on each geocache found. Over time the box used to store the stamp wore out badly, which forced me to attach duct tape over its original cover (you can see it on the photo taken at that time). Even so, this repair didn't prove ideal because it could cause the interior of the box to deteriorate further with age. Having obtained my new 3D printer recently, I decided it was a great opportunity to design and build a sturdy plastic enclosure specifically for my stamp. And that is exactly what I did. For everyone's benefit, I've shared two variations of this custom box: one adorned with our geocache logo on its front face and also displayed inside, and another plain model featuring no logos at all.
