The sculptor unveiled his masterpiece in 1930, unveiling a granite bust that showcased his artistic flair. Later, the 32-metre monument was carved from geisha pink granite and erected in front of Moscow's Bolshoi Theatre. A smaller version of this monument was displayed at a New York exhibition, crafted from a block of pink granite that mirrored its counterpart in the MUSEON Arts Park in composition, technique, and size. By order of the Moscow City Council of People Representatives on October 24th, 1991, the monument was dismantled and relocated to the MUSEON Arts Park exposition. This work holds great historical and cultural significance as the monumental construction of the soviet era, addressing themes of politics and ideology.
