I wasn't thrilled with the stock bungee paddle holder on my Hobie 2020 Outback, so I bought the paddle clips that come standard on the Pro Angler. They're a big improvement over the bungees in my opinion, and I wanted something similar for my stakeout anchor pole. The threaded bungee plugs worked out perfectly for attaching some custom clips with 1/4" machine screws. I just designed and printed a couple of clips to fit the 7/8" diameter pole. If I had taken a look at the stock bungee plugs before buying, I probably would have made the paddle clips myself.
