To enhance desk lighting, I designed a hanging light fixture that attaches to the stair above. Craft the mount using a 3D printer, etch or CNC the board, install components and secure it to the mount with glue. Connect a low-cost 12V DC power supply for illumination. The total power consumption is only 7W, including the power supply.
