A LED lamp will illuminate a staircase's steps, with one light per side. Translucent covers are preferred over transparent ones. Low power consumption, around 10 to 12 watts, allows for use as a night light. Credits to Constantin for the Cree XLamp model. The PCB design is preliminary, displaying dimensions; it uses AVX 9175 series, 2-way connectors.
