My Initial Project was a solid undertaking, brought to life within Solidworks and further honed at my College Club Robocon. I employed Aluminum Sections extensively and leveraged Malleable Cast Iron Rods as required. Turning precise Shafts on the Lathe was also key. You can see holes and Circlip Grooves rendered, but NutBolts have been left to your imagination, awaiting your keen eye to visualize them.
