This adapter fits most standard stainless steel kitchen sinks perfectly for a single-hole kitchen faucet. Use it as a backing to secure the faucet firmly in place. I used this adapter with our Kohler Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet, replacing the 1/2 inch plywood backing specified in the directions.
