The Larson Electronics HALSS-TRN-400WMH metal halide hazardous area light is a highly durable, weatherproof solution for illumination in wet or corrosive environments. With a 400 watt metal halide lamp, this U.L.-listed fixture is ideal for industrial applications, boat docks, building exteriors, and outdoor work areas. Constructed of stainless steel for resistance against corrosion, the light features a removable front-access door with captive closure screws for easy servicing. The optical assembly includes heat/impact-resistant tempered door glass and heavy-duty silicone rubber seal. The lamp housing is protected by a specification grade mogul base porcelain unit with heavy gauge brass, nickel-plated screw shell, and spring-loaded center contact. This Class 1 Division 2-rated fixture operates on electrical taps for 120V, 208V, 240V, and 277V, and is U.L. rated 844, 2279 and listed for outdoor saltwater marine environments. The integral pulse start ballast is protected within the weatherproof housing. This light produces high light output in a wide flood pattern, operates effectively at higher temperatures, and can be mounted via an adjustable stainless steel trunnion bracket. All hardware on this unit is corrosion-resistant stainless steel, making it resistant to rain, snow, saltwater, and corrosive chemicals.
