Stained glass came stop block
thingiverse
When assembling a leaded glass panel, you typically hold the pieces on the unfinished edges in place using horseshoe nails. This is a block you can slip over the horseshoe nail that will match the profile of the came you're using. One side can be used to hold glass in place -- in this case, it will keep the free edge of the glass raised off the workbench at the same height as the came will. The other edge can be used to hold came in place -- in this case, it will press against the heart of the came and avoid creating marks on the free edge.I've also created 90° corner blocks that can keep a piece of glass from moving in two directions with one nail. It can be used for square corners in glass/came, or on reasonably tight curves where it would have two good points of contact. This is customizable to fit a wide variety of shapes and sizes. If you need other shapes (specific curves or angles), this .scad file might make a good starting point. If you want to use a different type of nail, that should be easy to customize.
