Staind XL rc tank automated rubber band gatling gun

Made up a gun mount for the turret platform, added a laser pointer for aiming, and used the 32 round rubber band gun. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3904720 Just used a 3mm drill bit to mount it to the tilt base and attach the laser pointer to it. Need to print the base v3 standing up for added strength, use supports, and also the gun barrel; I used Overture PETG, but PLA would fine too. Use high infill on parts like the tilt base and clamps etc. Might need to do a little sanding here and there etc as usual. Everything uses the cheap Tower pro 9g servos. Had trouble with the original servo gear printing the splines; I can never get those to come out right, so I redesigned it to use a trimmed down servo horn and also thinned it down a bit because it was rubbing the turret platform. Thinking about redesigning it to use a GT2 belt because it is way too touchy due to the oversized servo gear making the ratio too high for small movements. Also on the laser pointer, used a Dremel tool with cutoff wheel to remove the back side where the batteries go and soldered wires to it so it can be powered from the RX 5-volt rail. If you get the wires reversed, it won't hurt it; I simply slipped one under the clamp to make connection with the body of the laser. Sorry the pics are inverted; I tried rotating them on both my phone and computer and they still upload inverted. Might try taking more and see if they come out correct. Enjoy! Update: Came up with a much better solution to the turret - made it use a GT2 belt instead of the gear system. Now it is much less sensitive to inputs and much easier to make small movements left to right, and no backlash. Used a belt from an old Walkera rc heli, cut it to length, spliced it with crazy glue, and put a small piece of heat shrink tubing around it; it works surprisingly well. Could use a continuous rotation servo, and the platform would rotate 360 degrees. Added a couple of pictures and again they loaded incorrectly.
