I remixed a gimbal mount for the XL version of Staind Tank, and it's specifically designed for the BG 2-axis gimbal. The hole on the left is intended for an optional VTX antenna, while the hole on the right accommodates power wires to the gimbal itself. To secure the gimbal mount to the top plate, all you need is a long 3mm bolt and lock nut. The inserts in this design stiffen up the rubber grommets on the gimbal, preventing them from wobbling excessively while still allowing some vibration absorption. This setup ensures a more stable image capture during flight. Personally, I'm not fond of using a gimbal on the tank due to its tendency to be too bouncy and not much better than an on-board camera unless you're climbing a hill, in which case it helps keep the camera level. To enhance versatility, I added a plate that allows the gimbal to be mounted to various other components; this plate fits seamlessly into the existing setup, eliminating the need to contend with rubber vibration balls. After printing this mount, it's essential to lightly sand between the mounting tabs using an emery board to achieve a snug fit. I plan to use this remixed gimbal mount on my large AP Multi-Rotor, which I recently upgraded.
