Stag, mini quadcopter pusher duct sub 250g 150mm ducted 3" inch
thingiverse
Hello, this is my finished mini quadcopter, featuring my specially designed pusher ducts for a compact size, robust, safer, highly efficient and maneuverable FPV quadcopter platform, suitable for park fly's to long range flights. It measures 150mm motor to motor, with a flying weight of around 238 grams and hovers for just under 14 minutes on a 3s 850mah battery. I've designed it to easily lift a bigger battery for extended flight times, although this would bring the total weight over 250g. The recommended material is ABS, which should be bonded with ABS slurry glue or solvent plastic glue and left to harden. This quadcopter can accommodate a GoPro or similar camera if desired. I'll create extra brackets if you're interested. I've used Race Star BR1306 3100KV motors, but other 12mm spaced motors might also be suitable. To achieve a smooth fit inside the duct and on the lip, some sanding is required. The propellers will initially be tight and need to be "shaven" to fit. This can be done by placing a piece of sandpaper on the inside of the duct and carefully revolving the propeller fitted to the motor over the sandpaper, removing small amounts of material until a tight but free fit is achieved.
