I carved out a segment from the bottom of the lizard so that it can neatly stack on top of itself. I also designed a model to fill the space in my printer (Makerbot 5th gen), making sure everything fits perfectly. The underside grooves have some sharp angles, but you shouldn't need any supports unless you significantly scale up the design.
