Stacked TripleFeed ("pagoda") Patch Array for FPV
thingiverse
Following the release of Maarten Baert's groundbreaking open-source "Pagoda" antenna in 2016, a circularly-polarized omni antenna for 5.8g FPV that boldly pushed the boundaries set by the dominant "Clover leaf" antenna, Maarten and Robin Theunis unveiled their revolutionary 5.8g circularly-polarized directional antenna, the Triple-feed Patch, in 2017, which sent shockwaves through the drone video transmitter community by outperforming the highly-regarded "Cross-hair" antenna as the top choice for video receivers. Here, I'm thrilled to present a stacked array of two Triple-feed Patches that delivers an even wider horizontal beam-width and higher gain than a single Triple-feed patch, making it a game-changer for drone enthusiasts. Attached is the STL file for the bezel, carefully designed to hold the two patches in a vertical array arrangement essential for achieving wide horizontal beams. Additionally, I'm providing a step-by-step video tutorial on how to phase two Triple-feed patches accurately to achieve remarkable results similar to an expensive Mini-Circuits 5.8g 2way splitter, accessible via this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pkux2bY1Lkc
