Stacked Stationery Organizer

My design is a 3 tier stationery desk caddy. The purpose of my design is to help students keep their workspace neat and organized by storing small items, such as paper clips and erasers. For my design, you simply slide the storage containers in and out of the caddy trays. Some issues that I came up against was trying to keep the measurements and size of my organizer at the maximum limit. If I could redesign this again, I would have each compartment be different sizes. The top one would hold small items, like paper clips, the middle one would hold medium sized items, like sharpeners, and the bottom one would hold larger items, such as pencils. 3D printing can help strengthen my design by allowing myself to print a prototype of my device, so that I can test it out and see if there is anything that I can change and improve.
