Stacked concavity

A fragment of a pot reveals telltale signs of stacked concavity. Crafted using the wheel-coiling method as detailed by Roux-Courty in 1998, this original vessel is depicted below. Check out our latest blog post on wheel coiling here. Forming techniques are showcased via our YouTube video. Technical specifications follow: The original pot was scanned with precision using a David SLS-3 scanner. The section featuring the relevant trace(s) was then isolated and manipulated with 3D modeling software from Maxon, Cinema4D. This modified segment was subsequently amplified threefold and exported as an .STL file.
