Stackable Tabletop Sewer Tunnel Tiles
thingiverse
The thrills of exploration await those willing to brave the depths of the sewer system's labyrinthine tunnels, where pungent odors and hidden perils lurk, yet tantalizing rewards beckon. Adventurers descended into the underground world through the rusty grate hole, carefully making their way down rickety wooden ladders in cramped quarters, each taking turns slowly disappearing into the interconnected network. Just a few days ago, I crafted the sealed entrance to this subterranean realm; now, four new 2x2 inch, 28mm gaming tiles are ready to be added, designed to stack seamlessly with that original tile. No existing tiles captured the claustrophobic essence of a tunnel descent, allowing for stacking and creating passageways – until now. These tiles feature pegs and holes for secure stacking, though some fine-tuning may be necessary to ensure snug fits, depending on your printer's precision. Each tile boasts an open side and another with a 45-degree angled wall, enabling clear views into the tunnels as well as smooth miniature movement. The intricate details include surrounding stone, sandy floors, old wooden propped-open doorways, and pipe systems – all meticulously crafted to bring this underground world to life. I opted for a solid mud cracking effect on the outside surfaces, but the texture allows for stonework with different colors to work equally well.
