Stackable shoe rack
thingiverse
One of those first world problems is owning way too many shoes, or maybe it's the lack of clearance for shoes that pushed me into making this idea come true. This shoe rack contains four printable pieces that combine with 15mm round rods so you can customize it to your own hallway. The maximum size of the pieces is 230x144x50mm, designed to fit in my Flashforge Dreamer printer. I assume scaling them down is possible to some degree, but the crucial point is the space between holes and perimeters - the rod diameter will change then. As you probably understand, the shoe rack shown in pictures is just how I made it, so I look forward to seeing your own shoe racks and how they turn out. Once you've been on a shopping frenzy, all you need to do is print another level, add the round rods, and you're good to go. The shoe rack displayed has tiny differences from the published files, but they should work just as well. Print Settings: Printer: Flashforge Dreamer Rafts: No Supports: No Post-Printing: To avoid damaging the parts when assembling, make sure the round rods fit in the holes before putting them together (I had to sandpaper them a bit first). How I Designed This: Four parts, endless possibilities. There's the bottom part where you assemble the legs, the middle part that you can stack as many floors as you like, and the top part which ends your shoe collection. The endings of the parts have 16mm holes where you put a piece of round rod to attach the next piece.
