Stackable Life/Heart Token

Stackable Life/Heart Token

I got tired of my life tokens spreading out everywhere. It was impossible to tell one token from five. When frustration finally reached its peak, this life token was born. The initial version (magnetless) was nice but still difficult to stack and would scatter when knocked over. I added a magnet and suddenly everything changed for the better. Now my tokens want to be together, they don't fall apart, they don't tip over, and they don't scatter. Magnet Size ---------- The current design uses a 1/8"x1/32" Neodymium magnet (approximately 3mm x 1mm). You can find this exact type of magnet at https://www.magnet4sale.com/n42-1-8x1-32-neodymium-rare-earth-disc-magnet/. The magnet hole is designed to be tight enough so the magnet will press into the plastic instead of being glued in place. Depending on your printing results, you may need to adjust the size slightly for a perfect fit. Gluing it in with super glue would probably be easier but I wanted to avoid making a mess. Magnet Orientation ----------------- When placing magnets in tokens, make sure all magnets are facing the same direction. To do this easily, start by pressing the first magnet into a token and use that as a guide for stacking the next token on top of it (so you can see the empty magnet hole). Then drop a magnet into the empty hole and it will automatically orient itself once pressed in place. Repeat this process for all tokens. To press the magnets into place, I used the flat side of a pair of pliers.
