Stackable Dungeon-style Miniature Stand
thingiverse
1" Scale miniature stand for your D&D miniature figs. Fits standard 1" round miniature bases, with ample room for sixteen figs. The pillars on the corners interlock securely into slots on the bottom of the floor, allowing you to stack as many as desired to create a multi-level dungeon-style shelf. Great for storing and displaying miniatures. Several key resources used in making this stand include wall elements from "OpenForge Ruined Wall Tile," which can be found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:526706. Additionally, the floor cobblestones came from "Cobblestone road for tabletop war games" at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:126575. Instructions: Since this stand is quite wide and flat, measuring a total of 6 inches by 6 inches (perfectly suited for a Printrbot Simple), you should take precautions to prevent edge warping. If the corners become curled too much, the floors will not stack perfectly. After several test prints, the best results were achieved at 400 microns with two layer walls/floors and twenty percent infill. Make sure your base is clean so that it gets good adhesion.
