Stackable Drawer System
cults3d
This is a guide for transforming leftover plastic microwavable food containers into a stackable drawer system through up-cycling. The print job is quite large and demanding, using up nearly the entire build volume of our 300x200x200 mm ExtraBot 3020 E3D printer (http://extrabot.net/index.php/product/14-extrabot-3020a-e3d). It prints well and we've included a SketchUp 16 file for anyone who wants to modify it. However, the bottom braces are a bit fragile so they might be improved in future versions. A Customizer version would also be beneficial. This project demonstrates how to use 3D printing in conjunction with reusing existing materials, opening up numerous new possibilities. If you decide to print one out, please share some photos. We enjoy seeing people bring our designs to life.
