Stackable Boxes

thingiverse opheoph 5974213 Free

There are plenty of stackable boxes out there, but to make me happy they need to fill three different criterias

1. Fast prints
2. Sturdy enough to not break
3. Simple enough so that prints don't fail
4. Stackable
5. Fith my bathroom cabinet

These boxes aren't the fastest when it comes to printing, this is because of 2 and 4. They need a couple of walls and bottoms to be solid enough to work properly. I could save on filament by adding more holes etc, but that adds details that might come out imperfect, and quite often holes makes the print time even longer. (And ignore the box on the lower right, I ran out of filament on that one and didn't spot it)

#############

When printing these you probably need supports... the edge on the bottom requires it.
Why a bloody edge then mate, I hear you asking. Well, 45 degrees angles that should in theory work often turns out bad on the first layers. While it's possible to get around this it's not worth the hassle. I suggest the following support settings:
- Gyroid support
- 1 wall
- No brims etc

When I have these settings I easily break off the support without having to exert much effort.
