Stackable Bottle Holder / Collector
thingiverse
Please take a look at my new design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2618022 This stackable bottle holder is designed to carry one-way returnable bottles used in Germany to transport them back to the supermarket. With its 4 levels, it can hold 36 bottles, but more levels are also possible. I'm not sure how this system works in other countries, but in Germany, one-way bottles have a €0.25 deposit, so they must be collected and returned to the supermarket. I previously designed an aluminium sheet "bottle butler," but wanted to create a printable version, which is now available. To assemble this design, you'll need a threaded rod M3, approximately 400-500 mm long, along with two nuts and two washers. This setup distributes the load evenly across the printed parts, eliminating issues with layer adhesion. For the 4-level configuration, you will need to print four main units, three tube sections, one feet unit, and one handle. Alternatively, you can purchase a plastic tube (HT-Rohr DN40) instead of printing it. I designed this model using openSCAD with multiple parameters, making it easy to adapt for different types of bottles. I may publish the file if needed. After two updates, I believe the design is ready for printing. My photo shows mixed generations of the same design, demonstrating that even simple projects can teach valuable lessons. If you decide to print this design, please share your make and provide feedback on whether it works as expected for you.
