I required new bins for my storage box. Several options were available, but they didn't match the design of my existing bins. I discovered a suitable template from BrookTrout, printed it out, but it didn't fit properly due to its excessive width and the bins' substantial wall thickness. To resolve this issue, I created my own custom bin design from scratch using dimensions taken directly from an original clear plastic bin. My design closely resembles the original, except for two key differences: the addition of rails on the bottom, which wouldn't be feasible with a FDM machine, and smaller fillet radii inside and outside the bin. To improve the design's aesthetic appeal, I plan to increase the radius of the fillets on the handle. My custom-designed storage bin drawer measures 53.75 x 140 (149, including the handle) x 37 (36 in the updated file).
